<p>As you grow up and learn from your mistakes it is clear that your brain is functioning correctly. Your brain keeps getting better the more you learn. This helps you live a more productive life. The longer you live the more new talents and skills you accumulate to help you live a healthier life.</p>
<p>Your brain acquired a great deal of knowledge in your younger years. Everything you learned as far as skills made your brain be stronger. Just think that you get better with the more practice you get, this happens as you age. As you get more educated your talking capabilities are improved greatly. You also need to learn how to manage your stress levels too, because stress can upset the brain&#8217;s ability to think straight.</p>

<p>The older you get usually the wiser you become. The opportunities and challenges on top of decision making helped to improve your brain. </p>
<p>Always be prepared for the different challenges life throws at you and have a positive attitude.</p>
<p>The brain functions through more information being put into it, and it also ties the different parts of your body together so that is functions correctly. No one is ever too old to be able to learn new things.</p>
<p>As you age you need to stay connected with your friends and family. The more contact you have with your friends and family the sharper your mind works. You learn from the people that surround you and this will assist you is staying sharp mentally.</p>
<p>As you get older watch your diet to maintain brain health. Consume numerous green leafy vegetables and all sorts of fruit. Vegetables supply your brain with many important nutrients, which enables it to perform properly. This is not hard to believe since vegetable can ward off cancer.</p>
<p>Vegetables and fruits are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals on top of being low with the calories and fat. </p>
<p>Antioxidants benefit you in many ways including lowering the amount of damaged or dieing cells in your body. Blueberries are known to help with certain memory functions.</p>
<p>Only a small number of doctors don&#8217;t want you taking herb or vitamin supplements. As you age your diet often changes by you eating less quantity of food and you have to make sure that nothing interferes with your medications. Check with your doctor to make certain you are taking the right vitamins, this way you will know that you are supplementing your diet the right way.</p>
<p>Stress Reducers:<br />
Stress often times can control your life, harming your body as well as your brain. You cannot remove all stress from your life, but you can eliminate as much of it as possible. Then you need to decide how to deal with the rest of the stress, by having as much pleasantries in your life as you can too. It is vital that you keep stress from taking a death grip on your life. Too much stress can lead to depression easier the older you get.</p>
<p>Your brain produces hormones to help you deal with some of the stress, but when too many of the hormones are produced damage can result to your nerve cells. When the hormones then are produced too fast and in too high a quantity depression can happen.</p>
<p>Relieve your stress that is causing you problems, because stress is hard on anyone to endure. You need to get the things off your mind that you can&#8217;t control, and just concentrate on what you can control. Do an activity you enjoy so that you can relax your mind and forget about what is stressing you. Have some fun and be happy !</p>
<p>It takes time to adjust your life as you get older to benefit your needs and health. It can be a challenge at times to change, but this can relax you from stress, and help your brain to function better through a chance to learn a new way of doing things.</p>

Well, I did too, until I found out the benefits of cardiovascular training or cardio for short. Cardio is a simple and easy way to improve senior fitness (in Finnish: <a href="http://www.lappset.fi/showroom/senior_sport"><b>senioriliikunta</b></a>).</p>
<p>By cardiovascular exercise, I mean exercises that involve the large muscles like legs and help make your heart and lungs stronger. Cardiovascular exercise has lots of health benefits like lowering your blood pressure, and also it can burn lots of calories &#8211; for those of you who want to lose weight.</p>

<p>Cardiovascular exercise is activity involving the large muscles, such as your legs. The word &#8216;aerobic&#8217; refers to something that needs oxygen. </p>
<p>During cardiovascular or aerobic exercise oxygen gets continuously delivered to your muscles.</p>
<p>To give your heart a proper workout you need to make sure that you do your cardiovascular exercise with a certain amount of intensity, but you don&#8217;t want to overdo it. One way to measure the amount of exertion while exercising is by monitoring your heart rate but whether you measure or not, the main thing is to get moving.</p>
<p>I was walking by the other day by an outdoor gym and I found Norwell Norwell Form Function products. I realized how easy it is to stay fit yet at the same time stay outdoors. <p>There are workplaces that can adversely affect health. You may develop health problems if your workplace is not a safe place to work. This is not to say you should quit your job, though. You need to take a closer look at your work environment and determine if it endangers your health or not. For most of us, the reason we work is so that we can save enough and eventually enjoy our retirement years. You won&#8217;t be able to enjoy your later years, however, if your workplace puts your health in serious risk.</p>
<p>So what jobs are bad for the health? If work in sawmills, coalmines, and other places where you are exposed to a lot of dust and particulate matter, your chances of developing respiratory problems. Sawdust and particulate matter can easily enter your body, causing you to get ling disease or worse, lung cancer. Bronchitis and allergies tend to develop among those who work in factories and other types of mills (e.g., corn, wheat, small grains).</p>

<p>Other high health risk jobs are those that involves the use of chemicals and using those chemicals to kill weeds and bugs. </p>
<p>If you work in this type of job, your risk of developing health problems increase too as you are likely to be breathing in the chemicals as you go about spraying them. Not only do the chemicals kill weeds and bugs, they slowly kill those who are using them. Your chances of developing respiratory problems, as well as something as serious as lung cancer, go up.</p>
<p>So what can you do so you are safe while you go about your job? If your job has you exposed to particulate matter, hard chemicals, and toxic substances, ask your supervisor to provide you with protective gear such as a mask and gloves, and even a suit. </p>
<p>A supervisor who is concerned about the health of his workers will not think twice to provide them with safety gear. If protective gear is not available, solve the matter yourself. You can go to a pharmacy of department store and purchase one for yourself. Consider it an investment on your health and well-being. When you are at work, make sure you wear protective gear.</p>
<p>What if you have a desk job? You may be thinking it is not really as dangerous as the jobs mentioned in terms of health. Take a look at your workspace then. Do you have ergonomic furniture? Is your chair comfortable for you or do you usually leave your office with an aching back? What about your desk and how your computer is positioned? Are you sitting too low or too high in front of your desk that you often have neck pains and eye strains? Think about your hands too. If you are constantly typing on the computer, is the keyboard ergonomic? Is your typing position in such a way that your shoulders, arms and wrists are relaxed?</p>
<p>If you have your own office, do you have good lighting and ventilation? If you spend a lot of time in an enclosed space, you should have ample lighting. You also need to be able to breathe well. Take a look also at how your office is set up. Are the equipment and furniture arranged in such a way that they facilitate good traffic flow? They need to be arranged properly so that you and your co-workers can easily walk around instead of having to dodge things or worse, bump into sharp corners. If your office has its own small kitchen where people can eat or take a break, is it well-maintained?</p>
<p>Then there is stress. All jobs bring stress that we cannot control. What you can do is control the stress your job brings instead of letting it control you. Sure you have a lot of deadlines and your supervisor is constantly breathing down your neck. All that stress can take its toll on your mental and physical health unless you address it and take control of it. Stress has been known to cause hypertension, heart disease, and stroke.</p>

<p>1. Stay in shape &#8211; You have to take good care of your body and keep it in good shape. This doesn&#8217;t mean you need to do exercising that is strenuous.</p>
<p>Simple exercising, like taking a walk every day will help you achieve this goal. The key is to keep your body active every day so you stay in good shape.</p>
<p>2. Reduce and relieve stress &#8211; Many people don&#8217;t realize that stress can age anyone and not in a good way. </p>
<p>You need to reduce the stress you deal with on a daily basis as much as you possibly can.</p>
<p>You won&#8217;t be able to get rid of all of your stress. The stress that you do feel needs to be relieved or this can cause unhealthy aging.</p>
