As of March 2011, there has been no evidence of a Fosamax recall. This is of grave concern as there have been proven many side effects of Fosamax to date. Fosamax is a drug manufactured by pharmaceutical giant, Merck, to combat osteoporosis. However, it would seem like a botched deal on this new drug. Many Fosamax users are crying ‘foul’ over the side effects of the drug after usage; some are known to have jaw hardening effects, ulcers, femur fractures or intense musculoskeletal pain.

The Government has vowed to stop companies having to “jump through hoops” to satisfy health and safety legislation and recover the public image of the field.
When the economy has been through very challenging times, it is vital that when stableness returns as it has, businesses can make the most of fresh opportunities. Despite this it is also essential that businesses which operate in potentially hazardous environments never lose sight of health and safety legislation.

In an effort to preserve the public health, the Food and Drug Administration issued a propoxyphene recall last November, which sparked a wave of Darvon and Darvocet lawsuits against the distributor of the two drugs, Xanodyne Pharmaceutical, Inc. But while the FDA may have prevented drug companies from manufacturing and marketing Darvon and Darvocet, frequent reports of illicit activity involving the pain medications shows that they are still available on the black market at perhaps a greater risk to users.
A simple Google search query for “Darvocet” turns up numerous reports of individuals being arrested in possession of the drug, including:

Much needs to be done to ensure that national healthcare reform and parity live up to their promise for persons with mental illness and addiction disorders, Congressmen and advocates pointed out during a recent policy briefing on mental health.
There is an unfortunate dual crisis of increased demand and service reduction. Coverage expansion under healthcare reform will result in 1.5 million new patients entering the public safety net for mental health and addictions treatment, which already struggles to care for 8 million+ children and adults. Approximately 2.5 million people with serious mental disorders, individuals with major addiction disorders and homeless persons will remain uninsured, relying on services delivered by the safety net. The economic recession has resulted in over $ 2 billion in cuts to public mental health services -with more cuts on the horizon – leading to the elimination of services for the uninsured.
Another public health emergency was highlighted during the policy briefing: Persons with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depression die, on average, at the age of 53 -the highest death rate among any population served by any agency of the United States Public Health Service.

Due to the passage of the new health care laws, there has been a great deal of talk amongst the health care activist community regarding the “public option”. While this has been touted as one of the best parts of the plan, it leaves people wondering if it is truly possible.
So what exactly is the public option? This term simply means that the general public will have more of a choice when selecting health care coverage. In other words, individuals will be able to compare overall benefits, companies, networks, prices, and general ratings of satisfaction in order to choose a plan that will provide the best options for themselves or their families. The public option takes this one step farther and offers an additional option to compare: a government insurance program. This means that the industry will change to a public vs. private competition, with the hopes of lowering the cost of care.

Can i register my individual name being a federal trademark?
The unequivocal answer for celebrities, athletes, published authors, speakers and individuals marketing goods and services under their individual names is, “Yes.”
A registration allows clients and counsel to do something quickly in order to avoid unauthorized usage of individual names for marketing of competitive goods and services, a practice and that is exploding on the web. In the same way major corporations build a “poison pill” to prevent uninvited control you attempts by competitors, people who have trademark rights in individual names may use a trademark registration to serve exactly the same purpose.

Can Republican lawmakers repeal the law?
Chances are slim to nil, at least through 2012. Although Republicans have regained control of the House, they will remain in the minority in the Senate. So it’s unlikely that Congress could pass a repeal bill. But even if that were to change, as long as President Obama remains in office, it’s a safe bet that he would veto such a measure. Easy To Insure ME has the answers
